Work

Self-Reliance
Mission
To provide workforce training and development
to participants who have significant employment barriers. Transportation
can be a barrier to self-reliance therefore this department will increase
access to private car ownership and training available to maintain vehicles
for low-income families. (Emphasis will be on essential skills such as
workplace attitude, respect, punctuality, etc. but may well expand to more
technical skills).

Ready To Work |
Careers provides
employment skills for Reach-Up participants.
12-14 week sessions provide
intensive education for participants.
Small group and one-on-one help is
provided.
Careers (GRTW)
helps with decision making skills, plan for the future, career
exploration, computer training opportunities, educational resources, work
related experiences, heightened awareness of family dynamics, handling
changes within your family and much more.
